Scope of work

1. Remove three old Cooling Tower # 1 (CT1) motor control centers (MCCs). Remove two old Cooling Tower # 2 (CT2) motor control centers (MCCs). Install a new 800A 480vac 3 Phase I-line panel to pick up all 480vac branch circuits of old CT1 & 2 MCCs . Note that most of the loads of Old CT2 were moved to new substation building in previous projects. 2. The new 800 amp Panel will be fed from an ATS automatic transfer switch that is fed by old mcc feeders. There will be three combo starters installed and fed from the new I-Line panel. The wire from these starter to 100 hp motors loads will be replaced. 3. The existing MCCs presently feed two outdoor 480-120/208vac transformers and panels. The new installation has an indoor 480-120/208vac transformer and 120/208vac panel feed from the new 800 amp 480vac I-Line panel. The loads from one old 120/208vac panel will be moved to the new indoor 120/208vac panel. The second old 120/208vac panel will be subfeed from the new 120/208vac panel. 4. Demo temporary Cooling tower feeders when Cooling Tower # 2X Expansion is operational.
