Gas yard line Gas Line Install Pool Heater Natural Gas Line: Install approximately 172 ft. total developed length of gas line piping on low pressure natural gas system serving a 400k BTU pool heater ran from gas meter on left-hand side front corner of home to pool heater on right-hand side back corner of home and an outdoor fire pit. 1. Install approximately 140 ft. of 1-1/2 polyethylene gas piping from gas meter at front left- hand side corner of home to pool heating equipment at back right-hand side corner of home. Install upstream & downstream isolation shut-off ball valve & unions upstream & downstream fusion gas risers and lay tracer wire in trench. 2. Install approximately 32ft. of 34 polyethylene gas piping from manifold tee at back left-hand side corner of home to outdoor fire pit location. Install isolation shut-off ball valve at tee and key valve in fire pit enclosure with gas stub-out.
