Replacement of complete existing central heat and air system with or without duct work PER EMAIL We received an e-mail stating that this type of work does not qualify for stand-alone trade permit. The homeowners are in the process of having a new 1-Bedroom / 1-Bath detached accessory structure built in the backyard of the existing home at this property address and the active permits for that work Permit #s 2023-132816 BP 2023-132816 MP 2023-132816 PP 2023-132816 EP 2023-093752 PR and 2023-123668 TP are completely unrelated to Air Conditioning Specialists permit request (Permit #2024-000117 MP) for replacement of the two (2) existing air conditioning systems located in the existing main house at this address location. Furthermore the air conditioning work being done for the new detached accessory structure in the backyard under permit #2023-132816 MP is being performed by a different and unrelated air conditioning company to Air Conditioning Specialists. The homeowners are a long time customer of Air Conditioning Specialists and the conversation about replacement of the existing air conditioning systems in their existing home and subsquent initial proposal for this work goes back to May 18 2021. Please advise on how Air Conditioning Specialists can obtain the required stand-alone mechanical trade permit for the replacement of the two (2) existing air conditioning systems in the existing main house at this property address of 2615 W. 49th Half Street Austin TX 78731.
